On May 4, 2024, Beloved husband of Shirely B. (nee Fry); Loving father of Donald F. Jr and the late Susan and Kimberly Webb and Cherished grandfather of Brooke (Alex) Cramer.
Don’s family and friends are invited to his Service on Friday, May 10th, 11 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Wood Lane and Wayne Avenue, Haddonfield, NJ. The interment will be private.
Don embodied so many wonderful traits – he was very loving and very patient, very organized and precise and very loyal and reliable. He deeply loved his amazing wife Shirley, his children and granddaughter.
Don committed himself to many wonderful causes beyond himself, and when he got involved, you could count on him being there reliably over the years.
He was a member of the Haddonfield Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years, and he worked tirelessly with the handyman’s group at the Lutheran Church of our Savior for nearly 20 years.
With his magical hands and mechanical mind, he was able to keep the many elements of his home running like a fine Swiss watch. Everything worked the way it should, and every job was done the right way.
He loved his many neighbors, and without a doubt, they will carry fond memories of his tireless work around the yard keeping the lawn and sidewalks neat and pristine.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend and neighbor, and he will be missed and remembered dearly by many.
