Following graduation, he began his career as a Spanish foreign language teacher at Camden HS than spanned 32 years. Besides teaching, Bill was passionate about antiques. He worked at an antique co-op in Haddonfield for many years and after it closed moved his business to Burlington: Historic Burlington Antiques & Art Emporium.

Constance “Connie” DiMedio
Age 95 of Haddonfield,NJ
(nee DiStanislao) Age 95, of Haddonfield, NJ, former longtime resident of Pennsauken and Marlton passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 in her home at Brandywine Senior Living of Haddonfield.
Born in Camden, NJ on October 5, 1924 she is predeceased by her parents, Alfredo & Esterina DiStanislao, and her late husband, Richard P. DiMedio.
Devoted mother of Helen DiMedio of Haddonfield, Norma Childs (Craig) of Haddonfield and Rick DiMedio (Lisa) of Atlantic City. Loving mom-mom to her “precious cargo” David Childs (Rob Chalifoux) of Washington DC, Jordan DiMedio Fasula (Joseph) of Haddonfield, Jillian DiMedio (Zach Channing) of Bend, OR, Jason DiMedio (Nikki Moorehouse) of Billerica, MA and Andrew Childs (Alyssa) of Haddonfield. Loving mom-mom “D” to Samantha, Ryan and Wyatt Fasula, her great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Elda Ranken of Pennsauken.
Connie will be remembered as a kind, selfless and loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, friend and aunt to over 35 nieces and nephews who always had a smile and a great laugh, even when times were tough. She had a quiet strength, never complained and always looked at the brighter side of life. Her greatest joy was being mom-mom to her five grandchildren: David, Jordan, Jillian, Jason and Andrew.
She was known for her delicious homemade spaghetti, ravioli and gnocchi. Every Sunday her home was filled with the aroma of gravy and meatballs. She would start early hand mixing the dough and cutting the spaghetti on the Chittara frame that was handmade by her Italian immigrant father, Alfredo.
While her children were young, she worked at home as a photographic portrait colorist. She was known for her “light touch” of paint and expertise of bringing the subject to life.

Jacqueline M. DiMaio
Age 75 of Pittsgrove, NJ
(nee Carolei); Mrs. Jacqueline DiMaio, age 75 of Pittsgrove, NJ passed away on December 21, 2019 following an extended battle with cancer. Jacqueline lived to the fullest and will be greatly missed by us all and has left a lasting impact in our hearts. She was born September 20, 1944 in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Anthony and Florence Carolei. Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband Herbert P. DiMaio in 2005.
Jacqueline is survived by 3 daughters, and sons-in-law, Diana Perna (Robert) of Hammonton NJ, Elissa D’Alleva (Dr. Mark DiMedio) of Haddonfield NJ and Jacqueline Lynch (Gregory) of Highlands, NJ and was the loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren, Joseph & Elissa Perna, Mark A, DiMedio, Jr and Dade & Reagan Lynch and sister of Joseph A. Carolei (Halima) of Los Angeles, CA.
Jacqueline, a dedicated healthcare professional who specialized in helping those in the geriatric community and other infirmed and those suffering with Alzheimer’s for nearly 40 years. She was an accomplished entrepreneur and business owner; a Registered Nurse, licensed social worker and nursing home administrator and the co-founder and CEO of Communicare Adult Medical Daycare, in partnership with her daughter Elissa, in Sewell NJ.
Jacqueline enjoyed fine art, interior design, ball room dancing, traveling, socializing with friends on weekly outings, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Thomas Allen Padgett
Age 97 of Huntingdon Valley, PA; Formerly of Haddonfield, NJ
Age 97, of Huntingdon Valley, Pa., and formally of Haddonfield, N.J., died peacefully on Dec. 13, 2019. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Wallstin) for 43 years. Devoted father of Carol Grear (Wayne) of Haddon Heights, N.J., and Lauree Padgett, Voorhees, N.J.; and stepfather of Kathleen Fudala (Stan) of Huntingdon Valley, Pa.; Ralph Walter, of North Fort Meyers, Fla.; and Rich Walter (Debbie) of Norton, Mass. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Allen was predeceased by parents William H. (“Dutch”) and Della; brothers Bob, Bill, Cliff, and Jack; and sister Doris.
A tremendous athlete, Allen graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School in 1942 and enlisted in the Marines in 1943. He saw active duty during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific, including Guam, through 1945. After college and playing semi-pro football, Allen joined the Haddonfield Police Force in 1950, serving more than 30 years and attaining the rank of captain in 1974. After his retirement from the force in 1981, he continued serving the community as a school crossing guard. He and Dorothy moved to Ormond Beach, where they lived for 27 years before moving to Huntingdon Valley, Pa., in 2016. In 1993, Allen was part of the inaugural class inducted into the Haddonfield Memorial High School Athletic Hall of Fame.
A Memorial Service for Allen will take place in Spring 2020 at the Haddonfield United Methodist Church. Details to follow. Angela was born in Passaic, NJ to the late Paul and Lucy (Fissichella) Fallavollita. She taught art in the Haddonfield school district from 1977 to 1998. She found much love and happiness during her 55-year marriage to Bill. Angela found her greatest joy in her grandchildren and children as well as her extended family and friends. She was an avid reader, a wonderful cook, and a lifelong learner. Angela especially enjoyed duplicate bridge and the challenge of gaining masterpoints.
