Mary M. Williams

(nee Morrison) On March 10, 2020; Age 85; longtime Haddonfield resident and member of Christ the King Parish; Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Williams Jr.; Devoted mother of Andrew T. of Mt. Ephraim, Mary Louise (Jim) Kenney of Cherry Hill and Lisa Anne Begley of Cherry Hill; Loving grandmother of Harbor, Elizabeth, Savannah, Katharine, Jack and Luke; Cherished great-grandmother of Blake, Ava and Whitney; Dear sister of Edward (the late Bernadette) of Woodbury Hts. & Anne Jean (the late Leonard) Piontkowski of Sewell.  Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.

Mary was born in 1934 in Woodbury, New Jersey to Margaret and Louis Morrison. She graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School in 1952 where she was an active member of the Alpha Sigma Gamma sorority.   She married Thomas E Williams Jr. in 1959 and soon began their family.  Mary will be remembered for her graceful style, genuine interest in others and love of faith, family and the Philadelphia Phillies.

William G. Hansen

On March 6, 2020; Age 102; Of Collingswood formerly of Haddonfield, NJ; Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Rich); Devoted father of Gail Burns of Haddon Twp. and William (Nancy) Hansen of Beaufort, SC; Loving grandfather of Bill (Nancy) Burns, Kevin (Deanna) Burns, Emily Hansen, William (Elizabeth De Mase) Hansen, Patrick (Genny Alexander) Hansen and Bridget Hansen; Dear great-grandfather of Patrick, Katherine, Brian, Matthew, Megan, Melanie, Maria, Finley and Luka.

Bill was born in Newark, N.J. and lived his early years in Jersey City. As a teenager, Bill began his working career delivering milk by horse and wagon. He worked briefly in the Federal Ship Yard in Kearney, N.J. from 1939-1941. In the mid 30’s, he met the love of his life Dot, marrying and moving to South Jersey. He landed his “dream job” with Standard Oil Company in Philadelphia. He started as a truck driver working his way up to Sales Manager and retired in 1978 following a 37 year career. After a brief retirement, he began what was his most rewarding career with Hutchinson Plumbing Heating and Cooling in Cherry Hill. Bill began his career with Hutchinson offering guidance and experience to the sales division ultimately retiring after 33 years as Permit Coordinator in 2015 at the age of 98. He was able to fulfill one of his lifelong dreams of working on his 100^th birthday as Hutchinson offered him a “one day employment contract” to celebrate his special day.

Bill was lovingly devoted to his wife Dot during their 64 years of marriage. Bill was also dedicated to community service. In the early ‘60s, he managed the Royaleers All Girl Drum & Bugle Corps based in Haddonfield. Bill was an early member and past President of the Square Circle Sportsman’s Club in Gibbsboro N.J. and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Marian Council in Cherry Hill. In 1987, he was honored as Haddonfield’s Citizen of the Year. He was a member of Christ the King Church for more than 60 years serving as a Parish Trustee, Parish Council President, and Eucharistic Minister. He received the Bishop’s Medallion from the Diocese of Camden for his service to his church. He was an active member of the Haddonfield Lions Club holding former positions of President and Regional and State Representative. Bill remained active with and as a Trustee of the Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley ultimately donating his eyes for research.

Throughout his life, Bill enjoyed spending time with and attending his grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s events. Bill’s final years were spent at the Collingswood Manor in Collingswood N.J. Bill’s life was greatly enhanced with the loving care and kindness given to him by the wonderful staff and residents of this community.

Bill’s family will greet friends on Friday, March 13^th, 7-9 PM at Christ the King R.C. Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield, NJ 08033 and again on Sat. March 14^th, 10-10:45 AM, where his Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM.  Interment at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Haddonfield Lions Foundation, William G. Milo W. Zidek

Milo W. Zidek, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2020 at home in Juno Beach, FL and was formerly of Woodbury/West Deptford, NJ.  A loving father, grandfather and uncle, he is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Mary (nee Byrd); he was a devoted father of Laura (Jim) Poliero of Haddonfield, NJ, and Brian (Kate) of Villanova, PA; and a loving grandfather to Amy and Katie (Poliero), and Caroline, Milo, and Audrey (Zidek).

Milo was born in Chicago, IL in 1935 and graduated from the University of Florida, Gainesville in 1958.  Milo was a longtime member and a past deacon and elder of The Presbyterian Church in Woodbury, NJ. A serial entrepreneur, Milo founded numerous enterprises during his accomplished business career.  Milo served as past CEO of Excess Reinsurance Underwriters, Inc., a leader in the medical reinsurance field located in Woodbury, NJ.  Milo also founded and served as the CEO of Argo Capital Group, a pioneer in the reinsurance industry located in Bermuda.  Along with his wife, Mary, Milo also founded the Zidek Family Foundation and served as a director of the foundation. Milo loved traveling the world with his wife and dear friends. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Trump National Golf Club in Pine Hill, NJ and Jonathan’s Landing Golf Club, Jupiter, FL. Milo will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jean S. Skinner

(nee Stewart)  On March 5, 2020, age 89, of Haddonfield, NJ; formerly of Bradley Beach, NJ, wife of the late Alexander Skinner & Alfred Trimble; Loving mother of Alexandria “Sandi” Pileggi of Haddonfield, Anne Walsh of Ireland, Richard Skinner of OR and the late William Skinner; Dear step-mother of Barbara Rosenbaum & Kim Trimble; Beloved grandmother of Michael & Katie Pileggi, Alexandria Skinner,  John & Katie Rosenbaum, and Montana Trimble.

Charles Allan "Al" Michel

On Feb. 27, 2020, Age 89, Charles Allan (Al) was a longtime Haddonfield resident; Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Flythe); Loving father of Charles J. (Deborah A.) of Cherry Hill and Kenneth A. of Haddonfield; Devoted grandfather to Allan C. and Thomas J.; Dear brother of Robert C. (and his wife Virginia) of Glen Rock, NJ.

Mr. Michel grew up in the Forrest Park section of Queens, NY. He graduated from Pratt Institute with a BSEE degree in 1953. Charles Allan (Al) Joined RCA in 1953 then served in the Korean War.  Upon his discharge, He settled in Haddonfield with his beloved wife, Joan (married in 1959).  Al worked at RCA Camden (GE/Martin Marietta) as an electrical engineer for 38 years and retired in 1991.  He was respected for his design abilities and candor and was the lead design engineer for the Score satellite which formed the US response to Sputnik in 1958.  Mr. Michel taught circuit design between 1966 and 68 at Rutgers Univ.  He was an avid sailor; however, his dearest passion was music.  Al played double bass and violin and was in several music ensembles including the SJ Pops, the Philharmonic of South NJ and the Brass and the Beat.  He was an inspiration to his family and friends by living life to the fullest.

Helen D. Lombardi

On Feb. 8, 2020, Age 94, longtime Haddonfield resident; Beloved mother of Marc.

Helen was a force of nature.  A kindergarten teacher for 35 years, she traveled the world, captured its beauty in award-winning photographs, and the world loved her back.  To know her was to be very lucky indeed.  She will be missed by countless friends and family.

Thomas N. Bantivoglio

January 23, 2020; Age 94 of Delray Beach, FL and former resident of Haddonfield, NJ. Loving husband of Patricia (nee Parker), devoted father of Christine (Grover) Czech of Alexandria, VA; Joy Bantivoglio of Mount Laurel, NJ; Judy Bantivoglio Dwornik (Gordon Gottlieb) of Medford Lakes, NJ; and Bobbie (Jonathan) Turner of Philadelphia, PA; cherished grandfather of Laura, Julia, Ginevra, Jason, and James; and will be missed by his beloved caretaker Elease Lewis. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas J. and Marie Bantivoglio.

Tom grew up in Camden, NJ and graduated from Camden High School in 1942. Instead of joining the family business, N. Bantivoglio & Sons Camden Iron and Metal, Tom chose the academic route, attending Princeton University (1946) and Harvard Law School (1948). Blessed with a brilliant mind, he joined then-Archer, Greiner, Hunter & Read as a young man and was a long-time partner and chair, serving as counsel to a number of corporations and businesses in the area for more than 50 years and leading the firm during a period of great expansion. A mentor to many, his impact was wide-reaching and deeply felt by all who knew him.

Tom met his beloved wife, Pat, in Margate on the Jersey Shore and their romance was ignited by their mutual love of the beach. Theirs was an enduring love story, leading to 69 years of marriage. He took great pleasure in his family and enjoyed spending time with his four daughters and five grandchildren, of whom he was immensely proud. He will be greatly missed by all of them.

A selfless philanthropist, Tom served as a trustee of the William G. Rohrer Charitable Foundation and was active in many local charitable groups throughout the years. He was particularly proud of his donations to Rowan University, where he founded the Thomas N. Bantivoglio Honors Program, which continues to benefit some of the region’s most talented students. In 2004, he received an honorary doctorate in humanities from Rowan University in recognition of his accomplishments.

Tom was passionate about wine and was very active in several wine clubs, including the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin—where he founded the Southern New Jersey chapter—and the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. His love of wine took him to France and Italy, where together with his wine groups he made lasting memories. He shared a glass with many fun and fabulous people, and we raise a glass to him now.

Tom was a man of wisdom, generosity, and warmth. His greatest joy was his family, and he was a loyal friend to many. He was one of the good ones.

In later years, he spent time in Delray Beach, FL, where he loved sitting on the porch and gazing at the Intercoastal Waterway view. May he forever bask in that view, glass of wine in his hand, saying it was a wonderful life and I did it my way!

Frederick J. Hammel, Jr.

On January 26, 2020, age 70, of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Mantua for 44 years; beloved husband of Darlene (nee Summerville); Loving father of: Frederick Andrew Hammel (Bridget Dean) of Haddonfield & Krystal Ham (J.P.) of Wayne, PA; Cherished grandfather of Madison & Aidan Hammel and Charlotte & Peter Ham and Dear brother of  Sarah Weiss of Thorofare, NJ, Dolores Worrell of Swedesboro, NJ, Kathleen “Kathie” Datko of Fairhope, AL, Joan Medany of Deptford, NJ, Brenda Bittner of West Deptford, NJ, Michelle Appice of Sewell, NJ and the late Mary Ellen Dunn.

Fred was a dedicated family man and actively involved in his community.  He was a coach for the Deptford Twp. Youth Football program, the Mantua Youth Football & Youth Basketball programs.  Additionally, he was a member of the Franklinville United Methodist Church and later the First United Methodist Church of Williamstown.  Fred proudly served in the US Army (101st Airborne) during Vietnam & later honored fellow veterans by volunteering on the Gloucester County Veterans Honor Guard.

Jon David Mastin

Age 79, longtime resident of Cherry Hill, NJ; passed on Jan. 21, 2020.  He was retired from RCA/GE having worked at their Hightstown and Camden offices in Engineering and Computer Systems.

He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Betty Mastin and brother Jim Mastin.  Jon leaves behind three children John Douglas Mastin, Deborah Sue Walters, and David Mastin.  Granddaughters are Mrs. Kelsie Allen, Morgan Mastin, Rebecca Mastin, and Olivia Walters.

Jon was a member of many lineage organizations such as Colonial Wars, Sons of the American Revolution, and the War of 1812.  He was an active railroad and model train enthusiast and served on many boards of his church, First Presbyterian Haddonfield.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 24^th, 2020; 11 AM in the Chapel at The First Presbyterian Church, 20 Kings Hwy E, Haddonfield, NJ 08033.  Interment Private.
