Mrs. Clark attended the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston and graduated from Connecticut College, majoring in Spanish. She lived for a time in Mexico and Columbia. She was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Merchantville and Tavistock Country Clubs. She adored animals and volunteered with local animal shelters. She loved doing puzzles, reading novels, and watching old movies.
She was devoted to her family, who with many others will always remember her constant smile, good humor, and the kindness she had for everyone she came in contact with. She will be deeply missed.

On August 3, 2021, age 83, of Haddonfield. Beloved husband of Irene (nee Christman), devoted father of Katherine Hempstead (Andrew Haughwout) of Princeton, Michael Hempstead (Maria Succi-Hempstead) of Northampton MA, and the late Thomas J. Hempstead (Ilizabeth Hempstead) of Maplewood. Loving grandfather of Madeline (Jared), John, Joseph, Emma, Philip, Augustus and Isaac. Great-grandfather of Maxwell. Brother of Katharina Bentson of Nokesville, VA.
John was a partner at Butcher & Singer in Philadelphia before establishing Hempstead & Co. He earned his electrical engineering degree from R.P.I. and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. John was a 1st Lt. in the U.S. Army (1962-1964). He was a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA).
John and Irene were married for 60 years and lived in Cherry Hill and Haddonfield. John enjoyed jazz and was an avid reader of history and newspapers especially the WSJ. John was a member of the Union League, Tavistock Country Club and the Lions Club and Sixty-Five Club of Haddonfield.

Longtime Cherry Hill resident
(nee Graham) Glenda passed on July 30, 2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years, Clarence (Rencie) Roesberg. She is survived by her 2 devoted sons, James (Cristina) of Brigantine, NJ and William (Chris) of Cherry Hill, NJ; 4 wonderful grandchildren, Austin, Brittany, William and John; 3 step-grandchildren, Anthony, Gia and Rick and 1 cherished great-grandchild, Cooper. She was predeceased by her loving companion of 19 years Thomas Marts and a sister Betty Pedlow.
Glenda was born and raised in Fairview section of Camden. Graduated from Camden HS, Class of 1951. She stayed home to raise her sons and later worked as a hostess at the former Greenbriar Restaurant in Cherry Hill for 13 years. She has been a member for over 50 years and Past Worthy Matron ‘1967’ of Fairview Chapter #219 Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to travel and was able to tour several countries in Europe plus Ireland and visited many islands including Bermuda & Maui. She was happiest on a NJ beach – close to the water or on the ocean fishing with her family close by. She was a huge fan of both the Phillies and the Eagles.
As Glenda wished, there will be Graveside Services conducted on Saturday, August 7th at 11 AM by the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 RT-130N, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. EDWIN H. ROUH, JR
Age 72 of Cherry Hill, NJ
Edwin Hammell Rouh, Jr. departed this life on July 18th, 2021 at home in Cherry Hill with his family at his side after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Ed was born at Cooper Hospital and grew up in Haddonfield NJ. He was a 2011 Inductee into the Haddonfield Memorial High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding performance in baseball and wrestling. Ed also played baseball at Colgate University where he was offered a minor league contract with the Cincinnati Reds, but elected to pursue law school instead. He was a 1977 graduate of University of Virginia School of Law.
Ed spent his entire professional career in Philadelphia, retiring from Glenmede Trust in 2013. He was an avid golfer and member of Tavistock Country Club and Haddonfield 65 Club. He was a great reader of history, and no road trip was complete without a visit to a local historical site or museum. Ed enjoyed travel with his wife including several golf trips to Ireland and to their vacation home in Vermont. He was a member of the Haddonfield Y’s Men service organization.
Ed leaves to cherish his memory his wife Christy, brother Kenny (Kate) of Jacksonville FL, mother-in-law Marilyn Paul of Whiting, NJ, sister-in-law Jennifer Schmidt (John) of Forked River, NJ, father-in-law David Hack (Linda) of Port St. Lucie, FL, five nieces and two nephews, and a host of cousins and friends around the country.

Joyce was a longtime Haddonfield resident and member of Christ the King Church. She worked as Dir. Of Administration at John Maneely Co., Collingswood, NJ for 20 yrs. For the past six years, Joyce was a resident of Brandywine Senior Living in Haddonfield where she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and engaging with the other residents. Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed the beach, gardening, cooking and working on crossword puzzles. She loved Sanibel Island, FL and for over 15 years, spent two months out of the year there shelling and taking in the nature and fauna. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Antonio F. Doganiero
Age 93 of Mt. Laurel, NJ
On July 9, 2021, age 93, of Mt. Laurel, NJ; Beloved husband of Rita (nee Quick); Loving father of Geneva Standiford (Steven), Gilda Smoll (Mark) and Antonio F. Doganiero (Mary Lee); Cherished grandfather of Caitlyn, Antonio, Leona and Gia; Dear brother of Robert and Enrico Doganiero, Uncle of many nieces and nephews, and Dear Friend to many.
Antonio was born in Camden, NJ on December 29, 1927 and raised there with his five brothers (Frank, Ben, Doc, Robert, and Enrico) and two sisters (Carmela and Anna). As an all-state halfback for the Camden High School football team in the 1940s, he attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick where he joined the historically black fraternity Omega Psi Phi. After starting law school at Temple University, Antonio proudly served in the Counter Intelligence Corps during the Korean War. He completed his law degree at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and worked as an attorney in South Jersey for more than 45 years, while raising his family in Haddonfield. Above all, Antonio was known for his bold and engaging spirit and love of family, friends, food, new experiences, and the simple pleasures in life.

Robert R. Kugler
Age 75 of Beach Haven, NJ; Formerly of Haddonfield
Rob’s life can be summarized as one of service to society and devotion to family and friends. He used his position as a lawyer as a platform to advance non-profit causes. Those included the American Cancer Society, where he served on the national board, raised funds for groundbreaking research, and played an essential role in passing the Clean Indoor Air Act; his church, HUMC, where he was a member of the choir, sang in the NJ MasterChorale, and contributed to the church’s grand renovation; his alma mater, Dartmouth College, where he served on the Alumni Council, co-led reunions, and built the Great Class of 1967’s bunkhouse and space for dialogue on fine art; and Symphony in C, where he was Chair of the board and mentor to many. He also contributed to his hometown, Haddonfield, in a number of ways, including the idea of placing “Haddy” in “Dino Alley.”
Rob found relaxation and contentment on Long Beach Island, sitting on the patio with Sandy, glass of wine in hand, watching God’s display of spectacular sunsets. He was a man of wisdom, humility, drive, and acceptance, whose example paves the way for all to build a more considerate world. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; kids, Justin, Lindsay, and Kelley; their partners, June, Holali, and Ryan; grandkids, Imanie and Josiah; and brother, John.

Age 67; Of Laurel Springs; formerly of Cramer Hill. Suddenly passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021. Edward was born in Camden, NJ and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.
Beloved husband of the late Margie (DiFrank); Loving father of Edward M., Chelsea L., and Justin Coyle of Cherry Hill, NJ. Dear brother of John (Carla), William, Janice (Thomas), Elaine, and James (Karen), and Uncle to many nephews and nieces, beloved son of the late Jack and Dorothy Coyle, and companion to Eileen Pascal.
Ed was known and loved by many. He loved Philly sports and classic rock. Ed was content with the simple life he lived surrounded by those who loved him and will now miss him dearly.

Kennedy (Frank Kling) of Philadelphia, PA and the late Ellen Laurer, Mary Nickerson & Daniel J. Kennedy; Cherished aunt of Ted Laurer, Albert Laurer, Scott Laurer, Heidi Giordano, Heather Casares, Matthew Laurer, Maria Herr, Daniel Kennedy, Maryanne Smith & Kevin Kennedy and Treasured great aunt of 17. She had a gift for developing close friendships with many.
Catherine was born and raised in Philadelphia. She was a legal secretary for many years for several law firms in Philadelphia including White & Williams. She was an avid reader, an artist in various mediums and a lover of the arts who possessed a gentle and generous soul. She had a unique zest and enthusiasm for many different life experiences. She will be greatly missed.

David graduated from Haddonfield Memorial HS, Class of ’46 and received a B.S. from Rutgers Univ. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for the Pennsylvania RR in the Philadelphia Office and then attained a teaching certification from Glassboro Teacher’s College (Rowan). He taught in Magnolia Public School for 33 years, which gave him much satisfaction. David loved the Philadelphia sports teams, had a special interest in writing, and possessed a sense of humor appreciated by many. He believed in being “true blue,” loving towards all people, and that there are “no bad apples, just folks with confused thinking.” David was a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield.
