Diana Douglass Ergood

(nee Douglass) passed peacefully surrounded by her family, on December 19, 2022. Diana married her high school sweetheart Foster C. Ergood and became his devoted wife of 58 years; cherished mother of Laura (Charlie) Ergood Brown, Esq., Douglass F. (Danielle) Ergood & Tara (Jack) Butz; adoring grandmother of Devyn, Blair, Shane, Joseph, Douglass, Jr., Julia, Tyler and Brooke; dear sister of Judy (Keith) Everett, and sister-in-law of R. Laurence (Barbara) Ergood. Diana will also be missed dearly by numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt D.

Early on in her life she was an executive secretary at Campbell Soup Company and later in life she worked as a medical assistant. Diana was an avid traveler, music lover, Jitterbugger, KESC & Cherry Hill West Swim Mom, Jazz Unlimited Dance Mom, and overall devoted sports mom and grandmom, beautiful party planner, and fabulous cook and hostess as she loved entertaining.

Diana was a one-of-a-kind, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her Christian faith was the foundation for the love that she showered upon her family and all those with whom she came in contact. She had the unique ability to make people feel truly special and left a lasting impression on their hearts. She genuinely was the light of the world and God’s perfect child.

Diana’s family will receive friends for a viewing on Monday, December 26, 20221 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM in the Sanctuary of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd, Haddonfield, NJ 08033; where her Service will follow at 1 PM. Interment, Methodist Cem., Haddonfield, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Diana’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
