On Sept. 10, 2022, age 61 of Cherry Hill, NJ; formerly of FL & Sicklerville, NJ; Beloved mother of Christopher Donnelly (Joshua Evans) of Haddon Twp., NJ & Kevin Donnelly (Heather) of Boston, MA, Dear sister of Jaime Almenara, predeceased by her father Jorge Almenara and mother Margarita Bartra. She will also be missed by her many family members around the world.
Lourdes was a caring mother, sister, and friend. She left this world after battling ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease).
After graduating from high school in Lima, Peru, she moved to the United States. With stops in Virginia and New York, she later settled in South Jersey where she began her family.
Lula worked in the financial industry for about 40 years. She loved gardening, music, dancing, traveling, skiing, and the beach. She adored her animals, especially her cat companion Ally, which she rescued two years ago. She was dedicated to helping others as much as she could, including volunteering with many organizations. As strong as her work ethic was, her love and devotion to her children was unparalleled.
Lourdes’ family will receive friends on Monday, September 19th, 10-10:45 AM at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ; where her Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Lourdes may be made to the Voorhees Animal Orphanage, 419 Cooper Rd., Voorhees, NJ 08043 (www.vaonj.org) or to the I Am ALS organization (iamals.org).

Lourdes fue una madre cariñosa, hermana y amiga. Dejó este mundo después de luchar contra la ELA (enfermedad de Lou Gehrig).
Después de graduarse de la escuela secundaria en Lima, Perú, se mudó a los Estados Unidos. Con paradas en Virginia y Nueva York, más tarde se instaló en el sur de Jersey, donde comenzó su familia.
Lula trabajó en la industria financiera durante unos 40 años. Le encantaba la jardinería, la música, bailar, viajar, esquiar y la playa. Entierro, privado.
