Robert L. Lumpe

On Jan. 2, 2019; Age 87; of Cherry Hill, NJ; husband of the late Sondra Jean (nee Roberts); Loving father of Shellie Jean McSloy and her husband Frank of Cincinnatus, NY and the late Lisa Ann Lumpe; and Beloved brother of Joseph R. (Shirley) of Columbus, OH and the late George W. of Jenkintown, PA.

Bob was born and raised in Columbus, OH and proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War.  After retiring from a successful career in Sales, Bob began volunteering at Cooper Medical Center. He then became the Chaplain and held that position for more than 20 years.  Additionally, at Holy Eucharist Parrish, Bob was very active as a Reader, Lay Minister and volunteer.

Bob’s services were held privately.  Memorial donations in his name may be sent to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Camden, 1845 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103 or to Fellowship House, P.O. Box 261, Collingswood, NJ 08108.
