Patricia Underwood

(nee Bonk) On February 7, 2025: Beloved wife for 57 years of Michael; Loving mother of Heather Szychoski of Gloucester City, Kevin (Jenifer) of Weeki Wachee, FL, and the late Kimberly (Sabrina Maurer); Cherished grandmother of Joel Szychoski; and dear sister of Steven Bonk (Thomas Mooney) and the late Theodore Bonk (Richard Rivin).

Pat taught Latin and English at Eastern High School before retiring from Cherokee High School after 25 years.  She was a world traveler, an avid quilter, and enjoyed golfing. Pat treasured spending time with the posse. She also played in multiple Bridge groups and was active in several Book Clubs. Pat had previously served on the Parish Council and taught CCD at Christ the King RC Church. Additionally, she was a fifty-five year member of the Haddon Fortnightly Women’s Club, where she served as President for two terms. Pat found joy in celebrating all holidays, especially Christmas.

Pat’s family will receive friends & relatives on Saturday, March 1^st, 9-10:45 AM, at Christ the King RC Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield, NJ; where her Memorial Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. Interment, private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Pat may be made to The Haddon Fortnightly, PO Box 321, Haddonfield, NJ 08033.
