Norman Michael Metzger
On July 29, 2023, formerly of Tustin & Rancho Mirage CA, husband of the late Barbara; Father of Geoffrey Metzger (Tina) of Audubon, NJ, Lisa Sciamanna (the late Jeff) of Sewell, NJ and Kathy Adams (Billy) of Bluffton, SC; grandfather of Christie, Stacy, Jeffrey & Elle; great grandfather of Kayden, Lucas, Trey & Gia and Dear companion of Lucy Cristaudo.
Norman was the son of the late Norman & Mary Metzger. He was raised in Oaklyn, graduated from Collingswood HS and proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Norman was a chartered financial consultant and chartered life underwriter spending over 66 years with The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Philadelphia, PA. He is also a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. Norman was a Past President of the Tustin, CA Chamber of Commerce and member in good standing, since 1973 of the Tustin Lions Club. Norman enjoyed traveling the country by RV and dancing with Barbara. He also volunteered at the Palm Springs Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
Norman’s family will receive family & friends on Thursday, August 3rd , 10:15-10:45 AM, at Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Sewell, NJ 08080; where his Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Norman may be made to the Church at the above address.
