Mary Kelley Stewart


Mary Kelley Stewart passed away on September 29, 2025. Mary was a longtime Haddonfield resident who was born in Margate, NJ, to Maurice and Gertrude Kelley.

Mary went on to graduate from Cabrini College. Shortly thereafter, she met her beloved husband, the late Sloan G. Stewart, also of Margate, NJ.

Mary was the devoted mother of Michael, Douglas (Lindsay) and the late Sharon E. Stewart; Cherished grandmother of Devon, Ryan, Sullivan, Griffin, and Macklin; Dear sister of the late John (Ellen) Kelley.

Mary was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church, serving as Eucharistic minister, both at mass and home visits, and a dedicated member of her community; belonging to garden club, bridge group, a member of Tavistock, the Fortnightly, and her proud passion, Interfaith Caregivers.

We will remember Mary for her unwavering care, warmth, and support for everyone’s lives she touched.

Mrs. Stewart’s family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, 9:30-10:45 AM at Christ the King R.C. Church, 200 Windsor Ave, Haddonfield, NJ (https://www.google.com/maps/search/200+Windsor+Ave,+Haddonfield,+NJ?entry=gmail&source=g): where her Funeral Mass will follow at 11am.  Interment, Calvary Cem., Cherry Hill, NJ.
