Helen Marene Walden (Flattley)
Passed away on August 28, 2024, surrounded by family. Marene was survived by her devoted husband Leonard “Len” Walden, Jr.; cherished mother of Michelle (Louis) Butera, Michael (Cindy) Walden, Lance (Missy Roberts) Walden and Laura (Dan Kulik) Walden; adoring grandmother to Julia Walden, Alexandra Carroll (Butera) and Olivia Butera; Great-grandmother of Kennedy Carroll; dear sister of Philip (Leslie) Flattley, Jimmy Flattley and the late Tommy Flattley.
Marene was a Labor and Delivery nurse at Virtua Voorhees for 38 years, before retiring at 70 years old. She enjoyed traveling especially to St. Martin. Marene had many hobbies including gardening, cooking and baking but her favorite was spending time with her family. Marene was a light in the lives to all who knew her.
Marene’s family will receive friends & relatives on Saturday, Sept. 7th, 9:30-10:45 AM at the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, 29 Warwick Rd., Haddonfield, NJ; where her Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM.
