Linda S. Field

(nee Summerill); On February 4, 2022; Age 74; of Cherry Hill, NJ; Beloved wife of Augustus “Gus” Field; Loving mother of Michael (Rachael Dillon) Field and Alison (Michael P.) Ventura; Cherished grandmother of Augusta Ventura and the late Michael Ventura Jr. Lynn adored her family and friends and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lynn was a longtime resident of Haddonfield prior to living in Cherry Hill, and she spent each summer in Strathmere. Wherever she was, you could find her digging in the dirt and creating beautiful gardens. She studied horticulture at Barnes Arboretum and was an active member of the Haddonfield Garden Club for many years.

Lynn’s family will greet friends on Wednesday, February 16, 2022; 10 AM to Noon at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services; 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ.  Interment is private.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lynn may be made to New Jersey Audubon, 9 Hardscrabble Road, Bernardsville, NJ 07924 (www.njaudubon.org/ways-to-give/#memorial-tribute-gifts).  Please select donation designation as Cape May Bird Observatory Ryan Dewitt Memorial Trail.
