Leslie C. Lyon, III 

Passed away on September 17, 2025. Leslie was the devoted husband of Laura (nee Martin); cherished father of Kelly (Robert) Motter and the late Cameron Lyon; adoring grandfather of Michael, Ethan, Katie and Sarah Lyon; Jason and Avery Rogers; dear brother of the late Deborah Comer.

He will be greatly missed by his loyal companions Shelly, his lemon beagle chosen specifically after the one his father had when he was a child, and Charlie, his wife’s quirky cocker spaniel.

Leslie proudly served in the United States Coast Guard from 1959-1962. He was a member of Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters, Local 252. His hobbies over the years included boating and antique cars. Most recently, he spent many months restoring the exterior of the family home with his grandson, Michael Lyon.

Services for Leslie will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Leslie’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
