Jon C. Baggs

On April 16, 2023, former longtime Haddonfield resident and former resident of South Carolina and Hawaii; Beloved husband of Kathleen “Kay” (nee Dewane); Loving father of Alden Baggs of Voorhees, NJ, Galen Baggs (Susie) of San Diego, CA and William G. Baggs of Haddon Twp.; Dear brother of Judith Smith of King of Prussia, PA and Jeanne S. Baggs (Robert Backman) of Sedona, AZ and treasured uncle of Susan Beriau (Scott) Brandon, VT and Peter Smith (Kim) of King of Prussia.

Jon graduated from Ursinus College with a BS in Biology and from Sherman College of Chiropractic.  He owned and practiced at Heritage Chiropractic in Haddonfield since 1982.  Additionally, Jon practiced in PA, SC and HI.

Jon’s love for surfing began as a child in Ocean City, NJ which took him across the country to explore surf breaks.  He continued to surf through his late 60’s.  Jon was a true renaissance man, with interests spanning from art & science to mythology and spirituality.  However, you would most often find him playing classical music on the piano, designing and building furniture in his workshop, growing vegetables in his garden, enjoying nature or reading more books than a literary agent.

Jon’s family will receive family and friends on Saturday, April 22, 2023 day, 12:00 pm_ to 2:00 PM at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ 08033.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Jon to Samaritan.
