JoAnn R. Hare

On March 8, 2023. devoted wife of the late George T. Hare, M.D.; cherished mother of Tom (Judianne) Hare, Patricia Hare and the late David Alan Hare, John M. Hare; adoring grandmother of Cole, Charlotte, Kyle, Erin, and Kaelyn; great grandmother of Oliver, Jameson, Nolan, Dylan, and Willa.

JoAnn was a homemaker and businesswoman later in her life. She was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor. JoAnn graduated from Gettysburg College which is where she met her future husband-to-be George. She was a member of Tavistock Country Club where she enjoyed two of her passions – playing golf and bridge. She was also a longtime member of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Haddon Heights where she served as a member of the altar guild for many years. Joann started her business career as an ’empty nester’ and established Seasons IV Florist which thrived for many years in Haddonfield until her retirement.

Joann’s family will receive friends on Saturday from 10-10:45 am at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 501 Green St, Haddon Heights, NJ; where her funeral services will follow at 11 am. Interment at Locustwood Cemetery in Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers charitable donations in Joann’s name may be made to Greenwood House Senior Care.
