Jessica Keenan Smith
Passed away on June 13, 2026. Jessica was the devoted wife of Terrence “Ted” Smith; Cherished mother of Carolyn Smith; dear sister of Rachel Keenan, Alyson Keenan and sister-in-law of Matt Smith, Tara Smith and Rob Rozicki; and treasured aunt of Riley Smith, Ciara Smith, Viviene Rozicki & Charlotte Rozicki.
Jessica was the founder of Living Well with Epilepsy, through which she dedicated nearly two decades to advocacy on behalf of individuals living with epilepsy. She shared her personal experiences to raise awareness, and worked within the healthcare system to promote a more holistic approach to patient care. She also provided guidance and support to patients, families, and caregivers, and was committed to amplifying the work of others in the epilepsy advocacy community.
Jessica also served as the Executive Director of the American Society for Experimental Neurotherapeutics, where she worked to advance the development and accessibility of new therapies for individuals with neurological disorders.
In her downtime, she could often be found on the shore or in Cape Cod, surrounded by some of her favorite people. She will be remembered as an avid gardener, a devoted family member, and a loyal friend.
Jessica’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17th from 6-8 pm at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave. Haddonfield, NJ. The family intends to have a celebration of life for family and invited friends on Thursday, June 18th. Interment, private.
