James E. Murphy, III
On July 8, 2023, James (Jim, Jimmy) passed away at the age of 64. Beloved father, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his children: Kait (Caley) and Murph, by their mother: Patti, by his most cherished siblings: Kathleen, Patti, Sharon & Michael, by his godchildren: Kelly and Michael, and by his many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and cousins whom he loved whole-heartedly.
Jim enjoyed a long and illustrious career at Quaker Chemicals, which took him around the world and earned him many accolades, including multiple Who’s Who mentions for his contributions to sustainability and ecological manufacturing processes.
He loved the great outdoors, exploring mysticism and his Celtic heritage, and spending quality time with friends and family, especially when he got the chance to jokingly terrorize his nieces and nephews as his favorite character, Uncle Werewolf.
Jim’s family will receive friends on Saturday, August 5th, 10-10:45 AM, at Kain-Murphy Funeral Services, 15 West End Ave., Haddonfield, NJ 08033; where his Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM.
