Helen B. Ade

On May 3, 2025; Devoted and extraordinarily patient wife of Joseph; adoring mother of Colleen (Kevin) Camperson, Laura (Kevin) Malcarney and Joseph (DeeDee) Ade; cherished Mom Mom of Shannon, Daniel, Kelly, Winnie, Declan, Clare, Courtney and Joseph; Toots was the oldest sister of James T. Buckley, Daniel Buckley, Maureen Pyne and Marie Gougon (predeceased). Aunt Toots will be sorely missed by many nieces and nephews and her adoring Siamese cat Sarge. She is predeceased by many adopted cats and dogs that loved her deeply and she loved with a full heart. Helen knew all her pets would be waiting to greet her at the gates of Heaven.
Helen was born in Atlantic City with sand in her toes. In AC, she got into all sorts of shenanigans with her brothers Butch and Danny as young kids. Helen was her siblings’ fiercest protector. She was adored by all Buckleys near and far. Helen spent 67 years of her 87 years with Joe. They sat side by side for all of those years, ending their long days of arguing and laughing, sharing a pot of percolator coffee and Entenmanns. She made saving money look fun. She taught her children that financial independence was crucial and to never let anyone mess with your credit score. She worked her whole life… Haddonfield HS in the main office, Fox &Lazo Realtors, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and of course the polls on Election Day! She loved Haddonfield High School Basketball, butter pecan ice cream, and QVC. She was a beautiful woman with stunning green eyes and ageless skin. Her children will forever miss her and her grandchildren know that they had the best Mom Mom ever.
