Elwood B. Mills, III
On December 27th, 2022, Elwood, known to all as Woody, passed away and went home to be with the Lord. He was pre-deceased by his father Elwood B. Mills Jr. and his mother Nancy Macdonald Mills.
Woody spent most of his life in Haddonfield and then later lived in Cherry Hill. A graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School (1971), he later received his BA degree from Mount St. Mary’s University. As a member of Living Faith Christian Center, Woody enjoyed serving in many capacities and was a member of the men’s group, nursing, and prison ministries. His kindness endeared him to his close friends and all those he encountered. Woody enjoyed reading, swimming, working out at the gym, and fishing at the Jersey shore. He eagerly followed the Philadelphia Eagles games and always loved a good Italian meal.
He leaves behind several beloved cousins and his Living Faith church family.
Woody’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10th at 9:30 am at Living Faith Christian Center, 2323 Route 73, Pennsauken Township where his memorial service will immediately follow at 10 am. Interment private.
