Doris M. Spetsas

Doris Spetsas (nee Schippers) passed away on February 20, 2025. She was the devoted wife of the late Ralph Spetsas and a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Doris is survived by her children: Ellen (Chris) Stone of Haddonfield, NJ; Robert (Jessie) Spetsas of Palm Coast, FL; and James Spetsas of South Fork, CO. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Dana and Jillian Stone, Nicholas, Lucas, and Michael Spetsas, and Kristen (Kyle) Warren, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to Callie and Wyatt Warren.

Doris had a long and fulfilling career as a paralegal, first with Montgomery McCracken in Philadelphia and later with Robert T. Healey in Haddonfield. Upon retirement, she dedicated her time to volunteering with Virtua Hospital, To Live Again (TLA), and Senior Citizens United Community Services, reflecting her unwavering commitment to community service.

She had a passion for travel and treasured summers spent at her home in Ocean City, NJ, where she created lasting memories with family and friends. Doris also loved gardening, finding joy in nurturing flowers and plants. She loved to cook and bake and was known for sharing her delicious homemade treats with family and friends. She also shared a special bond with her loyal feline companion, Anderson Cooper.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on March 3, 2025 at 10:00 am at Holy Eucharist R.C. Church, 344 Kresson Rd, Cherry Hill Township, NJ, where her funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11:00 am.
