Doris N. Binder

Age 96 ~ Longtime Haddonfield resident

(Nee Neill) On March 8, 2026; wife of the late Frederick W. Binder, Sr.; beloved mother Barbara B. Salter (David) of Haddonfield, NJ, Nancy B. Tornetta (Joseph) of Blue Bell, PA and Frederick W. Binder, Jr. (Jill) of Newtown, PA; cherished grandmom of Christopher Salter (Emily), Timothy Salter, Kristin Tornetta, Michael Tornetta (Virginia), Matthew Binder, Nicholas Binder and Alexis Schemeley (Victor); loving great grandmom of 8; dear sister of Barbara N. Koontz and aunt of many nieces & nephews.

Doris graduated from Ursinus College and later worked as an accounting and payroll representative at Towers, Perrin, Forster & Crosby (TPF&C) in Philadelphia. After having her 3 children, Doris became a stay-at-home mother.  Additionally, she was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield and belonged to Tavistock Country Club for over 60 years. Beyond these commitments, Doris generously volunteered with the Ladies Auxiliary for Cooper Hospital and participated actively with Haddonfield Little League for many years. Her interests extended to athletics, as she was an avid bowler and golfer. Doris especially enjoyed golfing with her husband, family, and other TCC members. She also played tennis and, as a Bridge enthusiast, joined Fred in playing in numerous Bridge Clubs.  Besides her family, Doris’ greatest joy was summering in Ocean City, NJ; which she did her entire life.  She loved playing in the sand with her grandchildren, the beach and waves and the beautiful views.

Doris’ family will receive friends & relatives on Friday, March 13th, 10-10:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Haddonfield, 20 Kings Hwy. East, Haddonfield, NJ 08033; where her Service will follow at 11 AM.  Interment is private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Doris may be made to the Haddonfield Little League, PO Box 213, Haddonfield, NJ 08033 or (https://www.haddonfieldbaseball.com/donate)
