David R. Gagliardi

On April 7, 2025, beloved son of Richard F. and the late Besty Gagliardi, cherished brother of Ann (Doug) Marshall of Haddon Twp., NJ, and dear uncle of Emily, Kaelin, & Andrew Marshall passed away.

David’s true passion in life was the outdoors. He was never happier than when he was fishing on a bridge in Strathmere or taking his kayak out in the back bays. In addition to fishing, he also was a skillful hunter. David spent hours in the woods setting up trail cameras across South Jersey to document the wildlife he loved.

Another joy of David’s was cooking and trying new recipes. He was known to have his “special” dinners planned out far in advance for special occasions like football games. He even started a YouTube channel to review recipes and then began filming his own cooking lessons, which were usually macaroni and cheese. He later expanded his channel to include his trail cam footage bringing his love of nature online.

David loved watching sports, but nothing quite compared to football. WVU was his team, and much to his enjoyment, he was able to visit the new stadium a few weeks ago.

David will be remembered for all of these things and more. He was quietly sensitive and showed his love through acts of service. He will be missed more than he could ever imagine.

David’s family will hold services privately.  In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of David may be made to The Wetlands Institute (www.wetlandsinstitute.org)
