Celebrating the Life of Craig Liss
Craig Liss passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love & cherished memories. He was the devoted husband of Diane (née Szymborski), loving father of Cynthia Alibrando (Matthew) and Jennifer Liss Holty, and proud Pop-Pop to Samuel and Mia Alibrando and Jonah and Savannah Holty. He was also a beloved brother to Daniel Liss.
Craig led a life defined by integrity, dedication, and love for his family and friends.
He was a fierce competitor on the football field and basketball court, and off the court, an avid college basketball fan who proudly cheered for his revered University of Kentucky Wildcats—Go Big Blue!
After proudly serving his country in the USAF; he was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant. Craig then went on with a distinguished career spanning over 50 years in the automotive business as a controller.
In retirement, Craig’s favorite pastime was spent down the shore at Bayberry. He loved playing basketball and pinochle, relaxing by the beach and pool, and getting custard and water ice with his grandkids. His frequent visits to his favorite eatery Sack O’ Subs became legendary—they all knew his order by heart.
Craig did enjoy his sweets and he could never turn down a banana split or chocolate chip cookie (with extra chips). And his absolute love for doo-wop and classic oldies always put a smile on his face.
