Cheryl H. Weiler

Age 67 of Milton, DE & formerly a longtime Haddon Heights Resident

Cheryl H. Weiler (Elliott) passed peacefully surrounded by family on August 8th, at the age of 67. Cheryl was residing in Milton DE and was formerly a 40-year member of the Haddon Heights, NJ community; Devoted wife of David G. Weiler; cherished mother of Kimberly and Amy Weiler; adoring grandmother of Aidan Murray; dear sister of Beverly Murray and Patricia Humphrey.

As a brain cancer survivor of 35 years, she was able to focus her remarkable journey on her life’s work involving family, friends and continuous volunteer efforts.  She worked with her church, local community social clubs and statewide organizations.  She was dedicated to the craft of crochet and stayed active in the worldwide community through the Crochet Guild of America.  Many times, she used her crochet skill to drive or enhance her volunteer work with the Haddonfield United Methodist Church, Women’s Club of Haddon Heights, Haddon Fortnightly and Volunteer Delaware 50+.  During a long stay at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, she continued to create crochet goodies for fellow patients.  She not only focused on creating works of art, but advocated for adoption of the skill through instruction.

Cheryl’s family will receive relatives and friends on August 17th, 9-10:45 am at Haddonfield United Methodist Church 29 Warwick Rd. Haddonfield NJ.
