Barbara Anne Tighe

Barbara Anne Tighe (née Vogl), age 79, of Audubon, formerly of Haddonfield, NJ, born and raised in Rockville Centre, NY, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024. Barbara, affectionately known as Babs, was the devoted wife of John Tighe and the cherished mother of Michael (Patricia) Knorr, Christopher Knorr, Adam (Denise) Knorr, Peter (Katie) Knorr, Sean (Maurisha) Tighe, Colin (Rachelle) Tighe, and Kevin (Ingrid) Tighe. She was the adored grandmother of 17 grandchildren and the proud great-grandmother of 2.

She is predeceased by her beloved children Andrea Faust Knorr and James Christopher Knorr.

Babs was an avid reader and a passionate gardener who found great joy in the beauty of nature. She was also dedicated to rescuing dogs, having saved and provided loving homes to nine dogs over 25 years alongside her husband John. Barbara’s love and enthusiasm for her family and her many interests were boundless, and her warm spirit touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
