Patricia “Pat” Shapleigh
Patricia “Pat” Shapleigh (Naylor), of Haddon Heights, NJ, passed away April 25th. Born and raised in Haddonfield, she was the third of five daughters of Ginny and Bill Naylor and a 1967 graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School. Pat married her high‑school sweetheart, Marc Shapleigh, in 1969, and together they adopted their beloved son, Jason.
Pat enjoyed years of sewing Halloween costumes, and sharing her love of horror movies, classic monsters, and her many dogs. She worked in several local pharmacies, where she was known for her kindness and her love of chatting with neighbors.
Pat treasured family trips to the Jersey Shore and Maine, and she was immensely proud when Jason joined the U.S. Coast Guard. She adored her grandsons, Bradlee, Brian, and the late J. Hunter, never missed a chance to spoil them. Pat also loved antique car shows—especially trucks—and was famous among family and friends for her homemade Chex Mix.
Pat will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Her family extends heartfelt thanks to the neighbors and friends who supported her over the years.
